The Indian American Cultural Association (IACA) & KHABAR Magazine invites all photo enthusiasts – from amateurs to professionals – to submit memorable clicks that capture precious moments from your life: daily life; family; travel; interests and hobbies; landscapes and landmarks; pets; still life, and just about anything that means something to you. Photos that capture Indian American or Indian life and culture are preferred.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Please read the following submission guidelines carefully before entering in to the photo contest:
- The contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
- Entries must be submitted in digital format, using this form only.
- Maximum three photos per individual can be submitted.
- Photos must be from within the past year: March 2022 and onwards.
- Each photo must have a creative title/caption of maximum 10 words.
- File format: JPEG (with extensions .jpg or .jpeg)
- Maximum file size of 10 MB and a resolution of at least 300 dpi, for each entry.
- Please use the following naming convention for each of your submissions: Title_YourFullName.jpg
- Exclusions: Entries must not contain any obscene, offensive, or inappropriate content, as determined by the contest organizer in its sole discretion.
- The contest is FREE (there is no entry fee).
- Deadline for submission: May 31, 2023.

Please read the following legal disclaimers carefully before entering the photo contest:
- Ownership: By submitting an entry, the entrant represents and warrants that he or she is the sole author and copyright owner of the submitted photo, and that the photo does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Liability: The contest organizer and its affiliates, partners, and sponsors shall not be liable for any damages, injuries, or losses of any kind arising out of or in connection with the contest, including but not limited to errors or omissions in the contest rules, technical malfunctions, or acts or omissions of third parties.
- Disqualification: The contest organizer reserves the right to disqualify any entrants who violate the contest rules, who submit incomplete or inaccurate entries, or who engage in any form of cheating or misconduct.
- The judges’ decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the contest, including but not limited to the selection of winners and the interpretation of these rules. By entering the contest, entrants agree to abide by the judges’ decisions and waive any right to challenge or appeal those decisions.
- Use of Photos: By submitting an entry, the entrant grants the contest organizer and its sponsors a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute the submitted photo in connection with the contest, including but not limited to promotional materials, websites, social media, and print publications.
PRIZES
- First place winner: $500
- Second place winner: $250
- Third place (two winners): $125 each
- Three “Honorable Mentions” will be recognized.
Winning entries and other selected submissions will be displayed at IACA events and published in
Khabar Magazine.
