The idol fever is on the air, but we are on the lookout to spot the very best singing talent among the Indian community in USA. The Atlanta India Idol event preparation is going in full swing. Prelims will be in March at IACA auditorium. We are open for contestant registration and sponsors at this time. Check the brochure and signup to "sing your heart out!"

It is a matter of pride to Atlanta as one of its citizens, Mr. Subash Razdan has been conferred with the highest award to Non Resident Indians (NRIs) from the honorable President of India, Shri. Pranab Mukherjee. This is a recognition in the area of outstanding public service. Subash, a Kashmiri Pundit is one of the 15 distinguished awardees including among others, the president of Mauritius, Rajkeswur Purryag, whose parents immigrated from erstwhile Bihar. This outstanding achievement award was presented to Subash during Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, at Kochi in the state of Kerala, India.
"Run for Your Wife" a hilarious drama enacted by Shyamsundar Yellamraju was staged at IACA on Feb 2nd, 2013. It was a very well organized event with superb direction, acting, organization and backstage coordination. It was a near sold out event that helped IACA raise good money. While it was cold outside the audience had a fun filled relaxing weekend just before the Super Bowl Sunday!

We are bringing a historic drama for you to IACA, done by Bollywood actor Tom Alter on Maulana Azad , the great freedom fighter, leader of India. The drama is in HINDI ( हिंदी ).
Tom will take you back in time..Time when India was going through partition and how Maulana tried to stop it … rather unsuccessfully…It’s a unique opportunity to witness that. Never before done in Atlanta. Don’t miss this please.
