We are bringing a historic drama for you to IACA, done by Bollywood actor Tom Alter on Maulana Azad , the great freedom fighter, leader of India. The drama is in HINDI ( हिंदी ).

Tom will take you back in time..Time when India was going through partition and how Maulana tried to stop it … rather unsuccessfully…It’s a unique opportunity to witness that. Never before done in Atlanta. Don’t miss this please.

The idol fever is on the air, but we are on the lookout for spotting the best singing talent among the Indian community in USA. The Atlanta India Idol event preparation is going in full swing. Finals venue will be at Ferst Center for Arts at GA Tech on April 27th at 4 PM. Finals include entertainment shows and hottest bollywood dance performances. Prelims will be in March at IACA auditorium. We are open for contestant registration and sponsors at this time. Check the brochure and signup to “sing your heart out!”

Senior Idol – 1st Prize $1000 , 2nd Prize – $750 and 3rd Prize $500
Junior Idol – 1st Prize $750 , 2nd Prize – $500 and 3rd Prize $250
Winner will also receive Gift certificates and opportunities to sing at the IACA sponsored programs such as Festival of India.

1) Ages 12-17 (Junior ) Contestant fee $10
2) Above 18 (Senior) Contestant fee $20
